Welcome

Welcome to all fun-lovin' folkaphiles out there in Cyberland. Whether you are old Parrot Fans from the Rock and Vinyl days in the 70's, or a convert since 2006 (when we got back together again), we hope you'll find something to interest you here. Perhaps reliving John Peel airing "Vacuum Cleaner " on Radio One. Or recalling us playing support to East of Eden. (In Nuneaton. Which wasn't quite like Eden!)

Maybe we'll get you reminiscing about that impromptu Police Tent firework incident at Open Air Concert in Coventry's The Memorial Park. Or chuckling over the Giant Cardboard Grandfather Clock in the Melody MakerRegional Heats. And do you remember those armchairs raining down from the Balcony at Warwick University during "Small Maladjusted and Mean." Students, eh? Tsk! Perhaps you were in the crowd when the Gaffer of The Golden Cross let the Dobermann loose?

Well we're a much quieter, much gentler, much more mellow outfit now. If you're a promoter, we'll promise you a good night whether it's a Folk Club, a Festival or a Christmas party. If you're just one of the loyal legion of Parrot Fans dropping in-well thanks for your continuing support. We will wear it often. Read on. And thanks for being you.
